The new album, From Zero , represents a new chapter for the band, introducing Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara as the new co-lead vocalist, alongside longtime members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave Phoenix Farrell, and Joe Hahn. In addition, Colin Brittain has joined as the band s new drummer, replacing Rob Bourdon, who has stepped away from the project.

From Zero is deeply symbolic, reflecting both the band s humble beginnings (referencing their original name, Xero) and their evolution after the tragic loss of Chester Bennington. Mike Shinoda has described the album as an exploration of the band s past, present, and future, embracing their signature sound while integrating new life and creative energy brought by Armstrong and Brittain.
